Tea Set Collection

My tea set collection has grown so much over the years. I've been collecting since I was about five maybe six. They mean the world to me, if my house was on fire the first thing I would grab is my tea set collection. I have an American Girl tea set, a rainbow one, a pink one, aTiffany one, and a lot more, I love them.

    I also know what it's like to collect something because I collect hoodies and snow globes. I have almost 100 snow globes and around 30 hoodies. My snow globes are from all around the world and my hoodies from all over the US.

      You didn't give us much to work with here, but I thought about how some objects that don't have much practical value are important to people. There isn't really a goal in mind when one starts collecting something, and it's really just a challenge to see how many of those items one can accumulate. It can also be a hunt, with enthusiasts of a certain thing scouring ebay or craigslist for a rare piece of whatever they collect. It has a lot to do with nostalgia- of the items someone collects, the most valuable ones are usually both in mint condition and harder to find (often through being old products) than others. Humans like to keep records of things and preserve the past as best as they can, which is why I think that the sought-after qualities in collectables that I mentioned in the sentence before help us to do just that.

    I'm not really much of a collector at all, so it's hard for me to understand why someone would choose to collect something. Why do you think you collect tea sets? Is it because you enjoy tea sets or is it because it's just because you have been collecting them for a while?

      The first tea set collection I ever received was from my great grandma when I was like 2. She died just a few months later, I didn't know her that well though. Anyway, after a few years I just started to collect them so I could add on to the first one given to me.

    I also collect something like Jordan I collect hoodies. Jordan and I actually started our collection together. I started collecting hoodies becausse I love being warm and they are comfortable. I wanted to collect something I would use. Why did you start collect tea sets? Do you actually use them or is it just for decoration?

    I don't usually collect things anymore. I used to collect the little erasers that were popular in 5-6 grades that you could take apart. I used to trade them with other people. In all, I collected about 170 of them.

    I used to collect foreign coins when I was in third grade. I always had the thought that I'd go to all of those places and use the money to buy something, but that kind of died out once I got into fifth or sixth grade.

    That is cool. I don't collect much stuff exept for band shirts and video games. Are thinking of expanding your tea set collection?

    I have collected rocks before! Does it get hard to get them sometimes because they sound like unique objects.
